This chunky poplar sphinx moth statement necklace is a versatile fashionista. She's bold, she's kitsch, she's maximalist, but she's still at home in cottagecore, goblincore and dark academia circles. Bright and boho enough for a summer festival, and quirky and gothic enough for your local witchy swamp coven.
Don't be mistaken in thinking she'll blend in with the wallpaper, oh no. This colourful lady was born to stand out and make an impact. Think of her as that radiant best friend who can't wait to show you off to anyone and everyone. She loves to share her well-deserved spotlight and won't rest until you're both raking in the compliments.

My nature-inspired jewellery is handmade in small batches in my cosy colourful art studio, usually while binge-watching true crime documentaries. I absorb inspiration from the world around me; animals, insects, flowers, food, bright colours, bold graphic shapes and maximalist décor. I also love ancient and folk art, and mythological creatures.
Wearing colourful and quirky jewellery is my jam - it's how I express myself and my creativity. There's nothing like rocking a chunky statement piece to boost my confidence, especially when it catches someone's eye and sparks a connection. As someone who is autistic and sometimes finds social situations a challenge, my jewellery has made me more comfortable with standing out from the crowd, being myself, and enjoying that lovely sparkly moment when a stranger says "I love your earrings!"
Let's talk materials. I love working in wood. There's a lot of laser cut jewellery out there made from plastic, but there's something about the organic tactile nature of wood that I adore. It's satisfyingly robust and chonky, it absorbs the inks beautifully, and it's lightweight so it's perfect for all day comfortable wear. There's a subtle grain peeking through, giving each piece its own little quirks. Plus, it's sustainable! My pieces will survive a bit of rain, but don't go swimming in them.
Speaking of sustainability, I keep it simple and eco friendly with my packaging - it's all 100% recyclable paper and card. To cut down on paper waste I do not include a physical invoice, but don't worry - all your order details are easily accessible on your Purchases page and in the email confirmation. My artwork is printed in eco-UV inks and I do my best to use up all my scraps of materials.
